TAKE A HIKE!

We realize the drive out to Van Horn can be long and grueling, so while you're out there why not take an extra day to visit the beautiful scenery of the Texas?

The Guadalupe Mountains are a quick drive from Van Horn, and the views are spectacular. If you're up for the challenge, the Guadalupe Peak Trail offers views from "The Top of Texas" (8,749 ft., 2,667m.), and the McKittrick Canyon Trail offers serious geology buffs and Chihuahuan Desert lovers a close-up of mother nature in all her glory.

Just remember - we only recommend a detour to the Guadalupe Mountains AFTER the Work Project is done!
